world’s tallest man joins design team
When Andy first crouched under our doors a couple of months ago, It took all sixteen of our staff from printers, estimators, finishers, pre-press and studio staff to tie him down. It was only then we realised he was the new creative artworker for our design studio. ‘It was pretty embarrassing but at least we know how the Lilliputians felt.’ explained Creative Director, Joe Graham ‘I should have noticed his size in the interview, but they all look the same after the first twenty or so. Anyway as I always say, size isn’t everything.’
We untied him, raised his computer screen by a couple of feet and set him to work.
Things seem to working out quite well so far, apart from the odd nuisance call from The Guinness Book of Records, and some threatening emails from a very big Ukrainian lad accusing our boy of walking around on tippy-toes trying to act big! Since Andy’s latest growth spurt, the Ukrainian lad has gone from being the tallest man in the world, to being the tallest man in his village, so you can understand his chagrin.
We are now looking into the practicalities of providing stilts or a neck brace for any potential client wishing to visit Andy in our design studio...or we could just ask him to sit down.
