You Want it When?
Part two of our dramatic serialisation of the what could be the biography of the decade...but isn’t!
In issue one we began our serialisation of the explosive autobiography of Steve (Snowy) Andrews, a four colour printer at Witney based print and design firm Windrush. Having spent what feels like a lifetime in print Snowy lifts the lid on what goes on behind the glamour and glitz.
Chapter Two:
Ink on the Rollers of Life.
‘Life is what happens to you when you’re busy making other plans.’ So said a legendary Liverpudlian. (although I always preferred Ringo) I thought if I put that in my book it would make me look deep. (See pic above for how deep I look) What really happens when you’re not paying attention is that you get printing ink on your best party dress. I don’t actually wear a party dress!!!...not since the MD supplied us with branded polo shirts. Not that I get much time to take my eye off the ball anyway when running our new 5 colour press. Variety is the spice of my life. It could be a catalogue one minute, flyers the next, maybe newsletters...Who knows?..Not me..Nobody tells me anything...I wonder who does know?...Production Manager, David Hyde should know. I’ll ask him.
