Windrush turns green

Windrush turns green

A mystery ailment seems to have riddled a local design and print company suddenly turning all employees a bright shade of green. The source of this bizarre affliction is unclear but global warming is not ruled out at this point. It is however, thought to be more likely the result of an alien encounter and bizarre chemical experiments by little green men from the Azura solar system.

In a shocking report, which I have just made up - like every good reporter - it seems the whole company has gone green. How this might affect other companies local to the area is not yet clear but from what I heard its likely to have quite an impact! An exclusion zone may need to be set up to stop this green madness spreading. It’s madness!.. Madness I tell you!!

Oh..but wait a minute! Now that I stop and think about it, I may have misheard the conversation in the pub last night. It might actually be about their environmental policy and how they have invested in new Azura computer-to-plate system to eliminate the need for chemicals and water. This would actually make more sense.

A company talking about being green in the environmental sense rather than actually ‘turning green’ would have made a much better feelgood story and it would have saved me hours of photoshop work on that picture. Still, I’ll leave the headline in as it still makes sense and hope the editor doesn’t read this. He doesn’t normally bother.
