Wayne’s wonders win award
After years of trying, keen gardener, and part-time print finisher, Wayne .... has finally scooped the prize of a lifetime. The coveted ‘best melons of the month’ award is given to the employee of Windrush with the most impressive melons. Wayne could not believe his luck in scooping the prize. ‘I’ve been trying to win for months, but Sheree, our Studio Manager normally wins easily.’ A proud Wayne continued. ‘I have to say Sheree’s melons are usually an impressive sight, but somehow I have managed to pip her this time. I think she is pretty happy about it though and has wished me well.’
Word is that next month’s award is already being hotly contested by Managing Director Rick Lockyer and Creative Director Joe Graham. When probed (apparently not for the first time) Joe denied claims that he has been at the gym three times a day for past two weeks in an apparently vain attempt not to win! However Ladbrokes have stopped taking bets on their ‘moob’ accumulator.
