‘Crouchy’ in bizarre copycat injury scare
World’s tallest man, creative artworker and ace striker Andy ‘Crouchy’ Whiting suffered a horrific copycat injury whilst pretending he was ‘Becks’ in a Sunday League football game. Crouchy had only just settled the issue that he could be ‘Becks’ that day and that fellow striker Millsy would have to be ‘Gazza’, when the freak incident occurred. A free kick right on the edge of the box should have resulted in a Crouchy - sorry Becks - special when he slipped on the run up and broke his littlest piggy. (or metatarsal as they call it now) Ironically he did end up just like Becks but not in a ‘Bend it like’ way...more of a ‘sitting crying on the bench’ way.
